The Work and Travel Program offered by Direct Educational Exchange, LLC allows bona-fide overseas university students to work in the USA for up to fourmonths during their summer school break (from June to October for Summer & November to March for Winter) under the J-1 visa category.

PARTICIPANT PREREQUISITES

• be 18-30 years of age,
  
• be a bona-fide university student at an institution intheir native countries,
  
• be capable of functioning in an English speaking environment,
  
• be able to document proof of sufficient funds and bring a minimum of 800 USD,
  
• thoroughly complete the Work and Travel Program application packet
  
• be able to pass a drug test
  
• successfully complete the interview process
